Release Preview: First Highlights of SAMPLES 2.0

For quite some time now, a promising, almost mystical term has been circulating among the SAMPLES development team: SAMPLES 2.0. And today, the time has come to offer a first glimpse into what lies behind this name—namely, a new, far-reaching milestone for SAMPLES. Essentially, it’s a brand-new release of our LIMS, LES, and ELN—but a very special one at that!

SAMLES 2.0 is designed to do nothing less than make lab work even more enjoyable, thanks to new smart features, expanded customization options, and additional improvements in usability and design. And the best part: We’re presenting the first highlights to you in a convenient and concise video tutorial. You’ll find it at the end of this post as well as in the Knowledge Center under Tutorials.

This short video offers a first look at SAMPLES 2.0. Thanks to its new tile-based design, SAMPLES is now even more intuitive and visually clear, bringing all the important information directly into the user’s view. This is further enhanced by the expanded filter options and the highly customizable views. In addition, tests can now be created directly from the sample or from within the job. And that’s not all—thanks to the new compact input feature, tests for multiple samples can be started much more quickly. Device management and control charts also feature key innovations; for example, enhanced editing options now allow users to define asymmetric limit values.

However, all of this is just a small preview of all the new features in SAMPLES 2.0. The launch is scheduled for the next few days. We’ll be happy to keep you updated on this and our other communication channels.
